Aging on lees gives these wines added suppleness; this method also gives young Muscadet wines their distinctive freshness and light sparkle. Their early-ripening terroir gives Muscadet Côtes de Grandlieu a range of supple, rich, floral aromas.
This delicious, fresh wine is produced from up to 60 year old vines and aged on the lees. It shows great concentration, minerality and depth of flavor. It comes from the best appellation of Muscadet, with its unique mirco-climate, bordering the famous Lake of Grandlieu. Close to the oyster beds on the Atlantic coast, it is perfect with all lighter dishes, seafood and especially oysters.
